Village Museum

The Open Air Village Museum in Lublin located in the valley of Czechówka River is one of the biggest open air museums in Poland. Owing to its rich architecture, exhibits and also the concern of intangible heritage of the region, it shows the cultural diversity of the province. It gathers items related to the former life in the village, in the manor and in the small town. It also preserves the knowledge about customs, rituals, traditions and everyday work of people living in the past.

Wincenty Pol Manor

Vincent Fields biographical museum is housed in a neoclassical mansion built in the late eighteenth century. In a small farm near Lublin Firlejowszczyzna. In the years 1804-1810 it was owned by Francis Xavier Fields, Vincent’s father. Sold half after leaving the family to Lvov in 1860. Returned to the 19th years to the family, as a gift to citizens of Lublin Province
Onion pie – a Lublin delicacy whose taste can not be forgotten. The Regional Museum of onion pie  explains why he has become a delicacy in Lublin and how he became associated with the city. In an interactive form, he tells the story of a delicacy, so that at the end, as part of the workshop, reveal his recipe and roast his onion pie.
